Mixin' it up Leroy Justice, Little Warriors & NY Distilling Co.

Last Thursday night, the place to be was Williamsburg's New York Distilling Company for a great evening of fundraising for a great cause - The Little Warriors (A Brian Bill Project).

U.S. Navy SEAL Brian R. Bill  was killed in action in Afghanistan on August 6, 2011 at the age of thirty-one and now rests in Arlington National Cemetery alongside many of his teammates who also perished in action on that day.

The Little Warriors honor Brian’s legacy by providing outdoor adventure to the children of Fallen Navy SEALs and Naval Special Warfare Personnel. The Project seeks to teach these children about the skills and spirit of some of our nation’s greatest heroes through mentorship, support and most importantly – adventure! Way cool. To learn more & to give, go here.

Thanks to the boys in Leroy Justice  (that evening's entertainment) for asking me to be part of the night (and for having me join them for "Purple Rain" & "Loving Cup"). Good times!

Oh - yeah - all that bourbon a-flowin' was a pretty nice touch, too.
